Once you have searched for a case or index number, you will see the Case Summary, which contains basic case details about the case such as the court, caption and case type. The case details will also contain additional details such as the e-filing status of the case and any assigned Judge.
Below this case information is the option to "E-mail Participating Parties". This feature allows you to send an e-mail to
all the consented parties in the case you are viewing. This feature is provided as a courtesy and shall not be used to serve documents
in this matter. However, if you wish to contact the consented parties for any reason, you can utilize this link.
Below your Case Summary you will find the Case Details tab. This tab displays the full caption of the case, the parties in the matter,
whether consent is recorded on behalf of a party and the NYSCEF user that consented on behalf of that party.
